PREPARATION - PRICES - TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

This exam evaluates your œsophages, stomach and duodenum, by opacifying them with baryum, taken orally.

It takes about 5 minutes.  We use a fluoroscopy machine and a moving table to take the X-Rays.

PREPARATION

If your exam is in the AM :
Do not eat or drink or smoke at least 8 hours before your appointment.

If your exam is in the PM :
A light breakfast is permitted at 6h00 AM (one toast, jam and juice of coffee).

PRICES

This exam is covered by your RAMQ card.  You must of course bring a valid card, and your prescription, signed by the doctor.
