PREPARATION - F.A.Q. - PRICES - TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

This exam evaluates the density of your bones.  There are also X-Rays of your dorsal and lumbar spine to complete the exam.

The machine used is a Prodigy of the latest model.

PREPARATION

No special preparation is required.  However, please avoid in the week preceding your exam any tests with baryum or any exams in nuclear medicine.

How long in the exam?

ANSWER :
20 minutes. You have to fill out a small form before the exam.

PRICES

This is covered by your RAMQ card.  You must bring it with you and your signed prescription.
