Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

What is magnetic resonance imaging?

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive medical imaging technique that produces highly detailed two- or three-dimensional images of organs, soft tissues, and internal structures of the body. Unlike X-rays or computed tomography (CT), MRI does not use X-rays, but relies on a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to produce high-resolution images.

MRI is available at our affiliated clinic, Radiologie Montérégie.
